Revive Massage Studio Policies

At Revive Massage Studio, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all clients. Please review the following policies to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for both you and your practitioner.

Purpose of Massage Services

Our massage sessions are intended to promote deep relaxation, stress relief, and reduction of muscular tension. All services are performed within the professional scope of practice as outlined by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform any form of spinal manipulation.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Revive Massage Studio is a safe and inclusive space—we proudly welcome and serve individuals of all ages, genders, races, nationalities, sexual orientations, religions, and political beliefs.

Appointments & Arrival

To enjoy the full benefit of your session, please arrive 5–10 minutes early. Complimentary beverages are available in our waiting area for your comfort and hydration.

Clients must be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For minors, a consent form must be signed at the first visit, and guardians are welcome to remain in the treatment room during the session.

Cancellations, No-Shows & Late Arrivals

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made within this window will be charged the full session rate. No-shows will also be charged in full. After two no-shows, prepayment will be required to book future appointments.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened out of respect for the next scheduled client. If your therapist is running behind, we will either extend your service time or offer a discount, depending on availability.

In the event of inclement weather or natural disasters (such as hurricanes), appointments may be canceled for safety reasons.

Illness & Health Considerations

If you’re feeling unwell—experiencing a fever, vomiting, or symptoms of illness—or if you need to care for a sick child within 24 hours of your appointment, we kindly ask that you reschedule. Our goal is to protect the health of both clients and practitioners.

If you arrive visibly ill, we reserve the right to cancel your session. Cancellation fees may still apply.

Hygiene & Cleanliness

For your comfort and the professionalism of our practice, we ask that you arrive freshly showered on the day of your session, particularly after physical activity. Our equipment and treatment areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each client in accordance with strict hygiene protocols.

Client Comfort, Communication & Consent

We encourage open communication before and during your session. Please inform your practitioner of any health conditions, injuries, or areas of concern. You are welcome to withdraw consent or end the session at any time, and we fully support your right to set boundaries.

Massage therapy is always performed with professional draping. Clients may undress to their personal level of comfort.

Zero Tolerance for Misconduct

All massage services at Revive Massage Studio are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual. Any inappropriate behavior—verbal, physical, or implied—will result in the immediate termination of the session and a permanent ban from the studio. In cases of harassment, we will not hesitate to notify the proper authorities. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy to ensure a safe environment for both clients and practitioners.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service unless previously arranged. We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, as well as FSA and HSA cards. Cards on file will only be charged in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policy. Your payment information is securely stored and never shared.
